DY Realty Services, LLC - Knowledge Management Solution
The team configured and deploys a knowledge management solution using the Multi-channel content management module. The Realty Services knowledge managment requirements were minimal. The team configured a knowledge managment solution that would meet the current requirements. The team went serval steps further in the configuration to empower the webmaster and future knowledge workers with the ability to start developing a DY knowledge base. The knowledge managment solution was configured to run parallel with DY’s taxonomy and automated processes.
The Knowledge Management strategy and implementation plan was somewhat ad hoc, in that there will be company Knowledge Manager. The DY Webmaster is charged with knowlege creation and management as one of his Webmaster duties. Although this is not a recommended approach to Knowledge Management, because the team configured the content management system to add and publish knowledge the Webmaster over time can easily build a good knowledge base. For phase one the Knowledge Management solution is used predominantly from KC User How To entries for using the system, workflows and wizards.
