Below is a complete list of our Frequently Asked Questions. FAQs are broken into 13 sub-types. Please look for your question under the appropriate FAQ subtype.

If you don't find your question or if the answer to a published questions needs additional explaination use the Tell Us More icon to submit a Request For Information, RFI.  Your RFI will be routed to the appropriate Ambassador FAQ manager. The Ambassador will reply to all FAQ RFIs within 48 hours from the date and time sent.

How can I connect my Microwave to MY Controls?
To add an additional appliance to your web-based MY Controls requires the addition of a Virtual Appliance switch or taking one of your current appliances off line and replace it with your microwave. In either case you must submit a Request for Building Repair. Click Here  for the Building Repair request for service form. Complete the form as directed.

How often does the webcam update the still picture?
The still photos from the webcam are updated every 3 minutes. To get a more recent photo than the one published simply click on the Refeash link under the picture.

What size is the Large Webcam photo?
The large Webcam photo is usually 640 x 480.

How do I include a photo with my ad?
For a cost of just $10, you may include a photo with your ad. In order to add a photo to your ad you must be ready to submit the photo when entering your ad. Once you have completed the online ad creation process, the instructions will prompt you how to upload your photo to the ad directory. If for any reason, the system is unable to accept your photo, you may attach it to an e-mail addressed to classified@theambassador.com. Please include the Ad ID Number that appears on screen at the end of the ad creation process. It serves as a reference whenever you correspond with The Ambassador regarding your online ad.

I just placed an online classified ad, how can I be sure that my order was taken?
If you have successfully purchased an online ad from The Ambassador  the last web page (Thank You page) in the order submission process will display your Ad Identification Number. This Ad ID will serve as your verification that The Ambassador has processed your order and your ad will appear online shortly. Make sure you save you Ad ID. You will need it in any correspondence with The Ambassador regarding your online ad.

What is a Classified Ad ID?
A Classified Ad ID is short for Ad Identification Number. You receive your Ad ID after The Ambassador has successfully processed your order for an online classified advertisement. The Ad Id appears on the last web page (Thank You page) in the order submission process and is a numeric number such as 09027123456789.

Can a tenant of The Ambassador post an article on the building portal?
Yes as a tenant of The Ambassador you can submit a News Article for publishing on the building portal website. Just follow the directions for adding an Article to the Building Portal. The portal Content Manager will review your article and publish it if it's appropriate.
