Project Task Managment Features
Project Deliverable Tree
Project node trees can be deployed representing project deliverables or milestones. Each project node can be configured to store all project related documents, knowledge, status reports and related tasks. KC Users can be assigned to project nodes based on their role. Task assignments can be created and managed for the project node by each KC User assigned to the node.
Multi-level Project Nodes
For complex projects multi-level project node tress can be deployed. No matter how complex a project the KnowledgeControl node managment system can be configured to accomodate it. Project node tree can be as deep as the project plan requires. Each node can be custom configured to manage the deliverables, knowledge, tasks, documents, process and team.
Task Assignments
Individual tasks related to project deliverables or milestones can be assigned to the KC User or Users responsible. The KC Task Management system manages the complete life cycle of the task assignment.
Task Assignment Collaboration
The KC Communication Management system captures and memorializes all notes, issues and comments related to an individual task.
Task Assignment Time Clock
The Task Management system manages all time committed by the assigned KC User to an individual task. Time can be submit by the KC User as Ongoing time or when the task is complete as final time. The system maintains all time submitted and provides management with a time managment report for each task.
Task Dependency Chains
Project managers can setup Task Assignment dependency chains so that as one task is complete the system sends the next assignment in the dependency chain.
Task Assignment Redirect
Task assignments can be redirected to other KC users that are members of the project team.
Task Assignment Email Notifications
The KnowledgeControl Communication Management system sends a rich HTML assignment email notice to the assignee. The assignment email notice contains all the details of the assignment as well as an assignment collaboration form. The assignee can respond to the assignment directly from the email notification.
Task Assignment Change Notifications
The KnowledgeControl Communication Management system send all KC user that are party to a task assignment a notification of all changes and additions to the task assignment. The assignment change notifications contains assignment information and a direct link to the Task Assignment and collaboration history.
Task Assignment Status Change Notifications
Through out a task assignment life cycle the KnowledgeControl Communication Management system sends the parties to the assignment an email notifications of all assignment status changes. The task assignment email notifications contain assignment information and a direct link to the assignment and collaboration history.
