Email Interface Features
KnowledgeControl Multi-Channel Content Management server integrates email into the KC Communication Management system workflows. This means all Requests for Information (RFI) notifications from the KC Communication Managment system are rich HTML emails.
Request for Information Email Notification
For every Public Website Request for Information submitted the KC Communication Managment system generates and sends to the assigned KnowledgeControl user a rich HTML email notice. The rich HTML notice can be configured to deliver the details of Public Website request, the business process that the KC user needs to complete the request, an RFI journal form so the KC user can journalize the action taken to reply to the request and an RFI Redirect function so the KC user can redirect the RFI to another KC user if the request requires.
RFI Action Taken Notice
An time a KC user takes an action on an RFI the KnowledgeControl Communication Managment system sends all KC users associated with the RFI a Action Taken Notice email. The Action Taken Notice email provides the KC user with information and a link directly to the RFI history.
RFI Status Change Notice
Throughout the life cycle of an RFI the KnowledgeControl Communication system will notify the KC users associated with the RFI of all RFI Status changes. As the RFI status changes from Not Complete to Ongoing to Manager Check-off to Complete or Problem status an email notice is automatically sent to the appropriate KC users. The email notice provides the KC user with information and a direct link to the RFI history.
